Who’s ready to smash some goals in 2020?? 💥 I’ve sat down and been reflective of the past year and thought to myself “what have I achieved that I planned, and what have I not achieved”. I didn’t achieve everything I had set out for 2019, but that’s okay. Circumstances change, things get in the way which can be a set back, but having to willpower and determination to jump back into it is what can make the difference and what builds character. Going into 2020 I’ve written down some work-related, personal and fitness goals that I want to achieve. Some are relatively short-term goals, such as achieving my spin qualification, whereas other are longer term, such as hitting a deadlift PR of 150kg. Remember, when you obtain a goal be sure to celebrate your hard work. It’s deserved. But if you are finding it difficult to reach a certain goal, don’t stress. Simply re-assess and think of the SMART principle. You might just need to make some tweaks and take an alternative route to get there! “All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible.” - Orison Swett Marden.
